CHRIS BROWN AND WIZ KID EVENT IS NOT A COUNTY GOVERNMENT EVENT SAYS MOMBASA COUNTY GOVERNOR 001.

Rumors spread in the social medias that Mombasa Governor, Hon. Ali Hassan Joho will be bringing to Mombasa, American superstar Chris Brown and Nigeria star Wiz Kid to perform on October 8 concert at the Nyali Golf Club in the event which is dubbed as Music Festival and organised by Mombasa Rocks.

Despite all these rumors the Governor 001 responded through his Official Facebook page that, "The Mombasa Rocks concert is a privately organized extravaganza and NOT a Mombasa County Government Event," He added, "I have just bought my ticket to promote the event." The Governor 001 seem to appreciate the organizers of the event when he said,"The county government of Mombasa welcomes such high profile event and its proud to host world renowned celebrate, this affirms Mombasa as a lending tourists and events destination." The Governor 001 added, "we will continue to bide for such high profile sporting, business and entertainment events to be held in Mombasa in order to stimulate tourism and economy at large."

Despite the organizers reduce the price of the Normal tickets from KSH. 10000 to KSH. 6000 still most kenyans seems to react on this through social medias.

This event will see Mombasa being the second city to host international superstars, shifting from Nairobi when they host Trey Songz who was in the capital city for the recording of the Pan- Africa non competitive TV show Coke Studio Africa Season 4.

During press conference by the Mombasa Rocks Director Mr. Adili Juma said some of our artist from Tanzania, Nairobi and Mombasa will be also performed.

Some of the confirmed artist is Ali Kiba from Tanzania.more are yet to be announced.
